Hmm. I should probably start reading blurbs again before I open the book. I can see where this is going, although as it's a 3 book series I'm guessing it's not going to happen in this book. Luckily I haven't read either of the series so this change in dynamic isn't going to ruin anything for me. Still not sure if I'll be invested enough to read the next two books.
