“Fiddler, Fool Pair” is the best short story I have ever read and it’s not even close. I need an entire novel about the lives of the fair folk under the hill and all of the body parts, spells, and memories they gamble with.

Take Only What Belongs To You does not fit in with this collection and I don’t enjoy it. I gave it another chance and still just can’t stand the characters/story. However I am absolutely chomping at the bit to read Fiddler, Fools Pair again - literally the best short story I’ve ever read.

Reading this treasure again bc I can’t stop thinking about it and why not
