This is getting tiresome and stupid. I don't think I've ever seen a comic that so consistently hinged on pseudoscientific gobbeldy gook.

This just keeps getting stupider. Another villain demonstrating that Flash can't handle mirrors and dazzling reflective surfaces? The literal philosopher's stone works like a remote control with invisible buttons, turning whatever into whatever? He broke out, found, and mastered the stone seemingly in hours? We wonder why Flash doesn't just pluck it from his hand... then in the end he does just that to win.

Some entertaining moments and kitschy nostalgia, surprisingly BEAUTIFUL art!, but some of these stories are just so so dumb. Same as GLv1: How are these early-60's stories so childish and stupid when the late-30's stories were often more interesting. These later books came a long way in aesthetics but seem to have lost something in the stories.
