Ashlyn How has this book been so far?

Jackson It's been a great read. I’m going to try and finish it this week but I just need to lock in at work. I like Morgan Housel's writing because its similar to talking to my dad face to face. Being 5000 miles away from family, its nice to feel like I’m having a good conversation with someone who's just being honest about the world. The book starts off about how illogical money is, and how its more based on emotions because humans aren’t robots. Unfortunately, for our generation, most people, especially dudes, are into the get rich quick schemes with day trading, trading meme coins, and a bunch of other crap. It’s practically gambling but with extra steps because now you gaslight yourself that it works all the time! Nobody wants to develop real wealth anymore by taking care of what you can control(a big topic in this book) which includes how much you save, choosing what you invest in, and sticking to your plan. The problem today, that directly correlates to social media use, is people's egos. They need that new iPhone, the new LV bag, or they need a car payment because a newer car is better. I can go on and on about today's financial crisis in America especially with our generation and this book reenforces what I've been preaching since I was in high school.
