I do project my hate for the thing she did with Chaol in ToG on Tamlin (even though I never liked Tamlin that much). I'll stop that now. Rhys was my fave in Acotar anyway so I'll be happy with the outcome I think.

Great. The same shitty character change happens as she did with Chaol in ToG. Why does SJM make him look so bad now? If you never intended for them to end up than don't make it look like they're in love in the first book. Argh!!!
