A bit confused, but interesting setting. Though those curses felt like they were ChatGPTd. Is all so random and definitely for the sake of the plot. Of course the shadow daddy clan can spin curses and are hated upon. Of course the FMC's curse was to kill anyone she fell in love with and eat hearts to survive.

The feeding chocolate part was absolutely unnecessary and I hated that part so much. I also hate the classic cliche when it comes to shadow daddies. Of course they are feared throughout the realms, can read minds, control the darkness, vanish and show up without a trace... blah blah blah.
