I found out Cuba tried to make 10 tons of sugar in a year but weren't able too

the author uses logos very well in the book because he uses many statistics showing really how poor Cuba economics were by the end of his reign

Castro is very powerful now but he's getting to the point that people are disliking him and starting to leave Cuba. I think the end of his reign is coming soon

After taking over Havana Castro took over the goverment within a week and was prim minster in about a month. And he had almost all of Cuba supporting him

I learned that it only took Castro like 5 years to overtake the old president of Cuba. Even being put in jail and having 10,000s of men sent to kill his 300 men and he still was able to defeat Batista.

The book talked about the younger rise of Fidel Castro. It talked about how he got is radical political views from college and how he started his movement. He just tried to attack Batista who is the president of Cuba by attacking a military base. He ended up losing almost all his men and getting captured by the government.

I learned about the childhood of Fidel Castro and how he was very rich growing up because his dad was very poor but turned himself rich.

They talked about all the revolutions that Cuba has tried and failed it complete. After everyone they just get more dependent on the US when they are trying to do the opposite. At the end they just said Fidel Castro was born.

I learned about the history of Cuba. I never realized Cuba was founded mt Christopher Columbus and that they were owned by Spain up until the late 1800's
