Also these books are so focused on putting the two characters together instead of allowing them to come together naturally like what if I wanted to see Halle bond with the other girls and meet her friends roommate and dress up like how can I bond with a character whose entire identity is revealed only when the love interest is around

I love that they keep saying he’s doing 99% of the work as if writing stuff down is as hard as reading through multiple sources and highlighting specific topics isn’t a lot of work especially for a class she’s not taking like yes she is actually doing a lot of the work for you
