I really want to like this, I really do. The concept is cool but it's falling flat and seems far too long. Nothing besides him going to school and failing his psych final has been discussed, its far too much tell and not show.

Mysherra is the only worthy character so far. She's smart and witty, blunt and brutal, and then we have Kane. I really wanted to like this but dear god it's so long. This is 590 pages of pain.
