Part 3: The Freedom Fighters enter the Zone of Silence to confront the mysterious knight. The knight happens to be King Acorn, Sally’s father. He doesn’t seem to remember any of them, and ends up injuring Sally. Sonic sets off the energy inhibitor, and they all go back though Rotor’s portal to get back to Mobius.

Part 4: Continuing Knuckles/Chaotix. Dimitri becomes a chaos emerald, and is the cause of Echidnaopolis falling. He dies but is reborn as Mt. Fate. Because of this, Edmund and the remaining echidnas vowed to never use advanced technology ever again. Knuckles realizes that there are still artifacts buried underground, and concludes that that is where Archimedes is holding the Chaotix hostage.

Part 2: Sonic thwarts Robotnik’s plans of messing with another zone, but it now jeopardizes the continuing existence of present Mobius. His solution is to use an energy inhibitor, which would allow travel between two zones. Sonic is skeptical because it would allow Robotnik to see his old mentor Kodo again.

Part 1: The Freedom Fighters discover a mysteriously armored figure riding on a horse in the sky. They realize it’s because Robotnik is messing with the magnetic fields on Mobius, and the experiment is also messing with King Acorn’s dimension.
