I wish the writing were more...... idk.
Maybe it's the tenses or how every male character but our ml is demonic or just that kate put makeup on at the first chance of cleaning herself up /during/ a zombie apocalypse... and also how the plot moving the story forward just gives kate a rough time of it. Probably so nick could come to her rescue every time, but i'm not the biggest fan of that...

what I am a big fan of is what everyone in the reviews was gushing over: the slow burn romance..... that's what I went in for... that and the zombies..... I am a sucker, totally ^^ the zombies leave much to be desired ngl.
I have thoughts but at the same time... this story has me gripped, so I guess I can't complain too much (i just already know it's no 5 stars like so many have rated it )

This is not what I expected based on reviews (there's a handful of things that I'm not the biggest fan of) but it does have me riveted, I can't deny it
