Just finished the chapter. I repeat: effing hell!! Drew is a bad guy. Is he even aware of how wrong his actions are?! Sloan is a vulnerable kid (yes he’s 18, but my point stands and they’ve been together for a year already). I really hope he gets out of this situation. I know it’s gonna happen—it’s a romance after all—but I’d like it to be soon before any more damage is done.

I’m usually wary when reading YA/NA books. Just because of the maturity thing. But this book is shaping up to be a really good one. The MCs and other side characters are acting their age without being obnoxious or in-your-face about it. And I’m loving the plot progression so far. And the writing is very good indeed.
