A literal device in my book is diction. The author worded sentences such as showing that, "[o]ur earliest and most critical environmental influence is the bond we share with our mother,". He gives us a starting point to where mental orders can begin and help the reader understand the content much better.

There are many pathos appeals from many prominent names in science that the author included such as Jerome Wakefield, who studied at Berkley and has many written works about mental dysfunctions, talk about the mislabeling of psychological disorders. Another example is Dr.Vincent Felitti, whose research changed the field of mental disorders forever. It shows his and his colleague's works.

This book has made me ask how we can help fix our healthcare system to where people from poverty, where healthcare problems are most prevalent, can get proper care at a cost that doesn't put them into years of debt. Another question is how are these people being treated? Is there a physical part of healing, and how much therapy is required. Or is there even a completely different protocol that doctors follow?

The best part of my book so far is delving into the many ways kids can be resilient to what they have experienced in their life. There are so many stories of children being SA'd and being able to rise above it all and graduate Oxford or help other people as well as improve their own mental state. There is also a part where they can be born with a hereditary gene making them more resilient to problems that can arise.

Since my book is not a story, I will talk about what the future chapters will be about. There will a a lot of exploration on the connections that healthcare and the care of mental illnesses have on people. There will most likely be talk about how many tests cannot take on such nuances about ach individual adverse childhood experience and can led to a lot of misdiagnoses.

One appeal in my book was that some children are more resilient to their childhood issues than other, it is effective because it explains about the child's nature and considers their personality and psychology.

It was my favorite part because I like learning about what made a person who they are and why they act the way they do.

The best part of my reading was digging into people's childhood and helping them reveal their childhood trauma and the situation that they went through.

I am learning about generational trauma and the importance of motherly attachment. What surprised me most about this is that even not touching your kids, such as hugging or caressing, can have a huge effect on the child's development.
