The half-blood prince has to be Voldemort. It just makes sense for the plot but also he is a half-blood and thought he was special from day one. I would be surprised if it was someone else.

I love Harry Potter! The beef with Snape is untouchable and I love it! "There's no need to call me 'sir' Professor"! I would be leaving that classroom in handcuffs if my student ever said that to me and as fast as Harry did! Boy!
