Haven't been reading this for a while now, I definitely don't think I wanna dnf it, because I'm sure I can and will finish. I'm enjoying the story, but I think I chose the wrong book to get myself back into reading, it's just a bit longer than I anticipated and it's not as rewarding to finish. I might get back into it soon and push through, or find something shorter to read in the meantime and get back to it later.

Lots of thoughts on this so far. I'm enjoying the story despite it being so familiar or maybe because of it. It's still to early to say whether this is a much better experience than the show, however as my re-introduction to reading, it's doing a good job of keeping me engaged and interested.

I've watched the show and rewatched it, and now it's time to start the books as I'm sure I'll have a pretty good time despite the fact that the series has no conclusion. Let's hope I can finish this, since it'll be the first book I've read in ages. Why do I pick an epic fantasy as my gateway back into reading? Idk💀
