Ok so I'm about to finish this but I had to do one last update because I just realized one of the main reasons I love Song Juhan despite him being such a bastard. He reminds me of He Yu and Luo Binghe, two of my favorite characters ever, and all of them are the obsessive type + like a big wolf acting as a puppy to manipulate the MCs. I really got a type when it comes to MLs lol.

Just when I was thinking "ok but SJH isn't that bad" (bar is in hell), then he goes and fucks it up even worse if that was possible. I forgot there's a reason he's the 188 vicepresident. It reminds me of that scene from Sissy, and it's almost like a parallel because it's the first time both gongs cry (explicitedly in the text) and when MCs realize they regret ever loving them.

So much has happened in the last 100 pages it's crazy. The last reveal hurt me bad omg. Surprisingly, I even feel a bit bad for SJH too? He's a bastard and I've never felt pity for him but now that I'm rereading... I have mixed feelings. Btw HG and ZHY had good chemistry, I'm still sad that nothing happened with ZJY (best character). Also the line about SJH not agreeing about breaking up LOL welcome back Shao Qun.

Well, I wasn't expecting this. It shows I forgot many things from the story. I'm disappointed in him tbh. I'm fine with flawed MCs, but that doesn't mean I don't find them annoying, even if I like them. While SJH is the most at fault, HG's POV is very unrealiable. I guess they're a pair made in hell.

Fucking finally, the chasing crematorium begins. For some reason, the novel got me more exasperated than the manhua, despite the events being the same. HG got very insufferable, but I don't blame him. He does have flaws though, and many readers never bring them up. SJH is definitely the worst person. Also, fuck that annoying manager, I need HG to stop answering those damn calls!

Back to this, I have the intention to binge until the end. I had to reread part of the beginning because I forgot why HG fell for SJH, when he treats him so badly in the present. It makes sense that it was because he was nice to him when they were younger, and HG has always have low self steem. I didn't remember HG thought they were dating at some point, I'm waiting for the bomb to drop. Poor guy.

Listening to the audio drama since I have no energy for the novel and I wanted to experience this in another format than the manhua which I had read. The voice actors match well!

Now, I recalled Song Juhan was horrible but wow. The scene at his job will always be humilliating, one of the most impactful for me. As many comments said, he is a Giant Baby in the worst ways.
