The beginning of the book was interesting. But now it's become a who's who of al Queda and the Taliban and how they organized and ran things. I'm struggling to push through and get back to how the librarians in Timbuktu actually saved the ancient texts. I feel like I was suckered in to reading this one via false advertising.
