I've got to give it to the author for this story. In simple words, the story has such a realistic feel to it that you get immersed in it. Yes, it has stuff that could be triggering to people, there is a lot of trauma the main character has to go through and overcome as the story unfolds. But as this happens, a new and exciting adventure within life begins to develop and be experienced. Multiple perspectives as well.
