Salinger has saved me from my reading slump.. halfway through raise high the roof beam and this is the most well-written book I have read in quite some time.. Salinger's ability to articulate the beauty of every single little piece of the world is incredible.. and instead of the all too familiar cynicism that permeates through all of his other characters, Buddy knows that everyone is the Fat Lady.. great. Loving this
