I just learned that in Julius Ceasers will, he gave every Roman citizen 300 pieces of silver from his fortune!?! I looked it up, it is real!
"There we were shown a copy of Caesar's will which named Octavius his son and legatee, and gave his gardens to the people for their recreation and to every citizen of Rome three hundred pieces of silver from his fortune" (Agustus, pg. 48)

Starting this book as a read along in a classics group! Accidentally started a biography of Agustus too, so it looks like I will be learning a lot about that time period. Though, this Agustus book is based in fiction!
