I don’t understand the Chaol hate. His want for Celaena and respect for her decision not to pick him makes my heart hurt for him. (I know who she ends up with in the rest of the series but still). Then again, I’m a sucker for bodyguard/forbidden romance, so I might be biased a bit.

“Because I can’t stomach the idea of marrying a woman inferior to me in mind and spirit” ~Dorian. I barely know anything about this series or where it’s going but I know enough to do a little dance at that line. I can’t wait to meet Manon.

So far, this is like the hunger games but less dark and depressing. I'm not gonna lie, I'm really bored right now and don't know why people hate Chaol because he's literally my favourite right now. I'm holding out cause I know the rest of the series is supposed to get better and I love sjm's other books so... Just gotta get through this.
