Ok…ok…I was (am??) really liking this book until just this moment. Yes, yes…a serial killer is out there but Joel suggests she go for a walk while he is at a meeting but freaks out when she has someone from work over?

Like I get the suspicion of the coworker….but how would taking a public walk without anyone be any bloody safer?
