He was shot a while ago. No problem. Now he got beaten up, burned and has an infected wound, which finally takin' its toll and leaving him weakend. But not as weak that he can't perform physically demanding tasks in the heat of the desert...well until he passes out. At a point were everyone else'd've probably been dead. But he as a manly man full of manliness is of course not.
