Okay so personally I would not label this as a romance. There is a romance budding BUT the traumatic things that are happening to them and around them is really taking me out of their "romance". Since I picked this up for Bingo & it needs to be a romance I'm going to come back to this at another time. And whew, yes its extremely dark.
