This will be the first step I’ve taken getting some sort of treatment for this disorder-which I really think I have, and have had for many years. I did not experience it much in AZ at all, but I’m really struggling again.

SAD is a real thing for sure. I would imagine it could affect many where you live, but then again we are all so different.
