I love one man (Adolin Kholin)

Sigzil with the saddest and coolest scene of this whole thing so far 🥺 honestly like I never imagined when starting this series that Sanderson would give him this cool of an arc. I just hope I like The Sunlit Man after, because so far Sigzil is the only one not making this whole book a complete waste of time (Adolin too but Adolin was always amazing, my beloved 🫶)

Okay but it feels like Day 9 has been going on for a thousand years and nothing has happened. Hopefully something happens on the final day, lol. But I'm not holding my breath. This and Rhythm of War should have been one book mushed together. Sanderson barely had any plot left in here, especially not for our three MCs. Sigzil, though? Just adore his POVs so far. Adolin too, but Sigzil is just stealing the show for me.

So the final two days are almost 30% of the book? That’s crazy 😅

Beginning of Day 8. It’s actually starting to down on me that this is basically the end. That’s kind of insane to think about 😅

This book is actually not terrible when Kaladin and Syl stay off page. Still the worst Stormlight book I’ve read by a mile, though. I’d literally feel confident rating it two stars already.

Not to be dramatic, but the Kaladin portion of chapter 52 made me want to throw up. Kaladin used to be the coolest Cosmere character, dude...

When all is said and done Adolin is probably going to end up as my favorite character in this entire series. He truly just can do no wrong ❤️
