Today, the 16th of June, is Bloomsday. This day is named after Leopold Bloom, a character from Ulysses, because the events in that book take place on the 16th of June. A perfect day to finally start with this monster, I'd say. Summaries, explanations and podcasts are on hand: let's do this!

Part 1 done. I can see why this book is notorious for its difficulty... Yet it is also enjoyable in a very strange way. Proteus is my favourite chapter so far.
