I already know this will not be a five star read for me. The narrative of the weak female main character feels so reused. Along with the ruthless enemy to protect her. While the dragons and the bonding make it interesting, along with the signets each rider can obtain, I’m struggling to read this without thinking of other series such as Red Queen and Divergent.
