I found myself quite fond of this movie. Probably more fond of Christian Bale's performance than the movie itself.
The book is clear in its attempt to convey how meaningless a life lead by branding and consumerism is.
Underneath all the fancy clothes, skin moisturizers and Dinner reservations at the most hip spots is usually just a man. Sometimes he needs to return some video tapes. Or eat his dates brains.
