i just talked about this being of similar vibes to there is no antimemetics division and then we met an adam who lost his family… what a coincidence!

maybe i’ll make it tradition to read one crazy sci-fi novel every january, have it be my first hyperfixation for the year, and immediately have it overshadow the rest of the books i’ll read for the year.

or maybe i’m setting my expectations up too high.
