Bernice & Ruby’s chapters definitely reeled me into the book.
Ashlee’s chapter got better as I continued reading (though the writing paired with her speech patterns felt awkward at times).
Now that I know the reality behind Will’s intentions, I feel jolted. The story completely shifted here (not in a way I like lol). I assume it adds onto how the women are further manipulated/exploited.
