This is a fantastic political drama.

I can't get over this actually. I feel like after 500 pages I have Leorino back. This is the Leorino from the first book. This is the Leorino who fights his hardest and tries his best and isn't afraid to put himself in danger or die to achieve his goals. This is Leorino. God I am remembering why I loved the first book, why I loved him as a character. God...

i have SO many thoughts about that section...... damn... this book may have SLIGHTLY redeemed itself. not enough to counter its transgressions, but i did like that last chunk...

you know the review is going to be savage when i'm only half way through the book but I've already written 2,000 words critically analyzing everything in this book that's pissing me off

omg I just realized that Josef basically told Gravis not to atticwife Leorino….

Josef is literally the only bitch in this house I respect.

BUT THE FACT THAT HE HAD TO STAND UP FOR LEORINO AT ALL IS COMPLETE BULLSHIT.

Would I be missing anything if I started just. skipping the sex scenes.
