This part is a bit engaging compared to the beginning. Plot is slow and goodness, Mare! Please stop describing how much you need Cal. Like gawd! I know you have attachments but really? every time you lay your eyes on him? don't you have any other to describe him with. This repetition is worst than the "anybody betrays anybody".
