How was Jude able to walk and talk at the same time when Anton’s brain was melting into a puddle of goo between his ears just because they were holding hands? Nobody had ever even liked him before, never mind wanted to hold his hand and walk down the street doing so. Nobody had ever wanted anything to do with Anton before, until Jude turned up with his freckle collection and his big, stupid, genuine smile.
