okay so my final take on this book:
it is useful and interesting in spurts. for the most part, the advice is a little lengthy although not boring, and is absolutely targeted towards a different audience than me. looking back on my annotations, i got approximately 30 prices of advice that i like and think are worth reading for. maybe didn’t warrant 270 pages, but it wasn’t entirely horrible.

i’m getting kinda curious what he has to say about being richer, smarter, and hotter than your parents or whatever the book title is. i doubt there’s much good advice in there, but i am just the slightest bit curious what he could poissibly have to say about accomplishing those three things (or whatever they were)

he is allergic to referring to anyone at all but they/them. even in situations that it sounds super weird to not use they/them.

shoutout to my dad for handing this to me out of the blue 👍👍
i’m laughing though cause “here’s the loophole: students who are married file their fafsas with their spouses, not their parents… so all you have to do is find a like-minded, trustworthy friend who’s as worried about paying for his kid’s education as you are about yours, and marry the two kids off.”
