This is like learning a whole new cosmology. The "Copernican revolution" of thought is certainly there. While his distinctions and reasoning are making sense, there remains something incongruous with the Christian metaphysics which our concept of a personal, yet omnipotent God compels, the resolution of which dilemma remains to be seen.

Finished with prefaces to the First and Second Editions. He explains his project very nicely, which is pruning Metaphysics of dogmatism via the distinction between objects as we experience them and in themselves, in terms of what we can and cannot know. He sees this as a distinction which will revolutionise Metaphysics and allow it to become a real science. We will see if this distinction mends philosophy as he says.
