Major Atheos is a big bitch for threatening to kill Mira and violet if she talks. That punishment for the dragons is also a bitch as move too. Atheos family definitely a villains in the story and violet mother is showing to be truly misunderstood. She just saving face to save her family. Is my idea!!! She is so for the revolution but will die to protect her family. She says violet is more like her (foreshadowing)!!!!
