wow...Carin's story is realistic whether society likes to admit it or not, domestic violence transcends race, socio-economic status. Point 2- I not a huge fan of "urban lit", but because this book isn't one that reads like a bad rap song, I like it. Sometimes it's the simplicity in expression that has the most impact.
