I started this but haven't been able to get into it. What are your thoughts?

I grew up reading the entire series so there's a touch of nostalgia for me. I'm currently reading this aloud to T and he begs for another chapter😁 I chalk it up to personal preference I suppose. The descriptions of food is enough to keep me reading :D
