So, I just finished the 42 chapters of Job. And guess what? I’m only 9% done with the whole Bible. I have to admit, I see a lot of myself in Job. The chapter was poetic, in a way—you have to break down what he’s saying to understand everything hiding beneath the surface.

Like Job, it’s not enough for me to just know; I want to get to the core of things. I want to see how it all fits together, especially when the path isn't clear. Some days, the answers come easy. Some days, though, the unknown just stands there, right in front of me. And that’s when I snap.

But knowing myself through the years, like Job, I just prefer clarity and certainty—something I can hold onto. Something that puts my mind at ease, even if just for a moment, until I’m hit with another surprise that says, “This is beyond your understanding, for now. Here’s another question to think about.”

The real challenge for me is knowing when to stop searching and when to start trusting. I don’t know if it’s a blessing that I have this awareness, but I still get caught in the dilemma from time to time. I guess, in the end, I have to agree with Einstein: “The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious.”
