D&C 50:24
That which is of God is light; and he that receiveth light, and continueth in God, receiveth more light; and that light groweth brighter and brighter until the perfect day.

D&C 31:9, 12-13
Be patient in afflictions, revile not against those that revile. Govern your house in meekness, and be steadfast.
Pray always, lest you enter into temptation and lose your reward.
Be faithful until the end, and lo, I am with you. These words are not of man nor of men, but of me, even Jesus Christ, your Redeemer, by the will of the Father. Amen.

D&C 29:36
…for [the devil] rebelled against me, saying, Give me thine honor, which is my power; and also a third part of the hosts of heaven turned he away from me because of their agency;

*the third of the host of heaven, is not a mathematical 1/3, but one of three groups. (We spiritually divided ourselves according to our desire: to follow Christ, to follow Lucifer, and ?? (perhaps those whom were undecided?))

D&C 27:5
Behold, this is wisdom in me; wherefore, marvel not, for the hour cometh that I will drink of the fruit of the vine with you on the earth, and with Moroni, whom I have sent unto you to reveal the Book of Mormon, containing the fullness of my gospel, to whom I have committed the keys of the record of the stick of Ephraim;

D&C 20:17-19
By these things we know that there is a God in heaven, who is infinite and eternal, from everlasting to everlasting the same unchangeable God, the framer of heaven and earth, and all things which are in them.
And he created man, male and female, after his own image and in his own likeness, created he them.
And he gave unto them commandments that they should love & serve him, the only living & true God…

D&C 19:4,6, 10-12
And surely every man must repent or suffer, for I, God, am endless.
Nevertheless, it is not worth that there shall be no end to this torment, but it is written endless torment.
… For behold, I am endless, & the punishment which is given from my hand is endless punishment, for Endless is my name. Wherefore- Eternal punishment is God’s punishment.
Endless punishment is God’s punishment.

D&C 18:10-13
Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God.
For, behold, the Lord your redeemer suffered death in the flesh; wherefore he suffered the pain of all men, that all men might repent and come unto him.
And he hath risen again from the dead, that he might bring all men unto him, on conditions of repentance.
And how great is his joy in the soul that repenteth!

D&C 14:5,7
Therefore, if you will ask of me you shall receive; if you will knock it shall be opened unto you.
And, if you keep my commandments and endure to the end you shall have eternal life, which gift is the greatest of all the gifts of God.

D&C 9:8
But, behold, I say unto you, that you must study it out in your mind; then you must ask me if it be right, and if it be right I will cause that your bosom shall burn within you; therefore, you shall feel that it is right.
