Just read the chapter on commitment that had seemingly nothing to say about commitment.
I feel like there was ample opportunity to talk about language like “dating” vs. “talking” and the implications that has for our understanding commitment as an integral part in love.
I would have also liked to see an exploration of what marriage means for commitment from a non-religious perspective.

The last two chapters have been the most impactful by far; the author’s takes on mutuality and romance feel very applicable to everyday relationship dynamics.
