I was commissioned to write the book by General Assembly, but the idea for it was simple - what are the five most important things I'd teach someone who wanted to be a product manager?
Do drop me a line if I can write about product management for you.

I'm still working with various tech companies to help them with their product management. I'm giving a talk next week (drop me a line if I can speak at your event or conference), and I've finally given my company website a facelift (http://productpeo.pl). Next up (when I've got time), I'll be working on a dedicated book/author website so people can get previews of the book.

Being irritated at something done badly in the world of product management, design or similar will tend to set me off on a rant. Which I then edit into something approximating English, remove most of the expletives and publish on my blog.

Sit down at the laptop and write about anything that comes to mind - complete stream of consciousness. I write about the things that annoyed me, surprised me, that I saw out of the window - anything. Eventually I'll find myself writing about what I'm meant to be writing about, and the writers' block has gone.
Another way is to record myself having a chat with someone about what I'm meant to be writing about - particularly because I write about product management, which lends itself to lots of examples and analogies. Just by talking to someone, I'll remember all the little anecdotes and situations I've experienced, which always helps to prompt the writing.
