I often glamorize the process of writing by using my imagination to make the writing process seem more fabulous than it might actually be. Sometimes I pretend I'm a spy that has to sit in that chair and complete four hours of writing. I'll dress up in professional clothes, part my hair, to also get in the mood. Sometimes if I don't feel like writing, or just feel plain miserable, I focus on that feeling and use it to empower my work. All our emotions are important to help create art.

I'm an insomniac that is often staring at the ceiling at 2am in the morning wishing to go to sleep. The idea came to me one day while I was working at my coffee shop and just thought to myself "Wouldn't it be great to drink something to help you fall asleep at night? And wouldn't it be great if it tasted like a frappuccino?"
