How do you get inspired to write?

Justin Lazaro I often glamorize the process of writing by using my imagination to make the writing process seem more fabulous than it might actually be. Sometimes I pretend I'm a spy that has to sit in that chair and complete four hours of writing. I'll dress up in professional clothes, part my hair, to also get in the mood. Sometimes if I don't feel like writing, or just feel plain miserable, I focus on that feeling and use it to empower my work. All our emotions are important to help create art.
