I outline all of my words and then time myself when I write. I make notes about what I'm going to write for that session and then I set a timer and write for 20 or 30 minutes. Having the timer, forces me to write something and I end up writing a lot. I often start out dragging my feet and then continue on with 2 or 3 sessions at one sitting and end up with 2000+ words.

Creating imaginary worlds and escaping into them. I write erotic romance so that's also very exciting. It's a big turn on.

Write what you love to read. Also, read a variety of things. I wasn't exposed much to the romance community until I went to a writer's conference and met a few awesome romance authors. I read their books and my mind was blown! Plus, connect with other writers. Romance is such a welcoming and collaborative and generous community. I still can't believe how many wonderful people I met here!

I'm currently working on my second new adult, erotic romance series, tentatively called My Secret Billionaire Stepbrother. It's about a girl who goes camping to deal with her mother's death and meets and falls for a mysterious man who ends up being her stepbrother and a secret billionaire.
Each book will be a short read (about 60 pages) and there will be 5 of them. They will be released a week apart, so you won't have to wait long!
