Goodreads asked Charlotte Byrd:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Charlotte Byrd I outline all of my words and then time myself when I write. I make notes about what I'm going to write for that session and then I set a timer and write for 20 or 30 minutes. Having the timer, forces me to write something and I end up writing a lot. I often start out dragging my feet and then continue on with 2 or 3 sessions at one sitting and end up with 2000+ words.
