I've learned to yield to writer's block without self-imposing an additional layer of shame and self-judgment. I simply affirm that I am enough but that this may not be the day or the week or month to write. I do something nurturing for myself instead, filling up my well or attending to something else in my life. This gets me out of my head and into my heart - the place where my writing (when it is good) always comes from. Inspiration will always bob to the surface eventually. And sometimes you have to wait for all the pieces to come together in the subtle or subconscious realms for a bit longer. So developing patience and trust was certainly also a key for me.

Being in that zone where your inner passion and gifts meet the world's greatest needs. It's a feeling of exhilaration, like being plugged into some larger, cosmic flow. You feel somehow carried along by it, and not in charge of it. I love that sense of surrendering to the process and for me, it is easiest to access this feeling through writing, though I sometimes break through to this place while speaking.

Keep telling yourself you are enough for this. Self-doubt tries to creep in often when you are being bold and stepping up to share yourself with the world as a writer. When I did so, I never felt so vulnerable! Also, I would say to be patient with the process and honor your own sense of right timing. Writing is not just about putting fingers to keyboard. So much happens prior to that, sitting with an idea, talking it over with friends or family, researching, integrating it and embodying it. We tend to think we aren't being productive if we don't have something written to show for it, but I feel the writing is truly just the tip of the iceberg. What is seen on the surface has so much behind it and under it. Make sure to honor that and to honor the self that you are becoming as you hone your core message and contemplate how you want to be of service in this world, because everything you do and think counts.

I am so excited to be working with an amazing group of women from Gather the Women Global Matrix and a Senior Editor of Natural Awakenings (and bestselling author) to develop a companion guidebook to the Enough book. We plan to offer a beautiful mini guidebook as a free download to purchasers of the Enough book in April, 2016, then will be releasing the much longer version of the guidebook later in 2016. This group was part of my first Enough Telecircle offering and I am so honored that they have wanted to pour themselves into the Enough work with me. I am absolutely blown away at the level of transformation, synergy and creativity that is generated through our group process.
I am also working on an Enough meditation video which will give people a visceral experience of Enough. I will offer this free on YouTube and invite people to use it for themselves and to convene circle events with an Enough theme. I will be releasing this in mid-April, 2016.

The Enough Message when I received it as a "divine download" was like a jolt of light and love. I couldn't possibly ignore it. I knew when it happened that this was my work to do, though it took three years for the depth and critical importance and timeliness of the work to become totally clear to me.

I received "the Enough Message" what I call a "divine download" in 2011. It was the core, 5 sentence Enough Message: "I am enough. I have enough. We are enough. We have enough. Enough!" Although I didn't understand at first how it was meant to serve, it began changing how I think about myself and the world around me right way. Because my downloads have never lied to me, I knew it must be truth and it certainly felt like truth, but it was the opposite of what we've been told about ourselves. This launched an investigation into cutting edge science, technology, social movements, as well as evolutionary biology, archetypal psychology, indigenous wisdom and feminine leadership principles to witness how this arising that I now call the new Enough Story is happening already. Then I understood that my purpose was to shine a light on what is happening and that the core driving force of it is much larger and more powerful and enduring than the human story of the last 5,000 years. Enough is the Universe's own 13.8 billion year old success story!
