When met with constant irony,
Abandon the expectation,
Love the process,
Appreciate the result.
Drawing is writing.
I don't always get it write.
I love the practice because it gets me closer to what it's meant to be, even if the final result is nothing like the original intent.
The final result is seldom like the original intent.

My original answer was "words."
One worded answers are, apparently, frowned upon.
I have a huge crush on semantics.
Writing is a semantic framework. I know that not everyone will see the same thing. I LOVE that.

Speckles of my past fall into my brain and I have an intense desire to describe them.
Words occasionally hit my head and I cannot rest until I write them down.
I like to take a notebook and some colored pencils to a restaurant or bar and write something. It's a lot like a sketch, but written. Some of those sketches become a part of a larger painting, most are practice.

This is a tough question to answer. The last time I had writer's block was with the first edition of Dinner.
I don't know for certain if it was writer's block. I had a book to write and I wasn't writing, for some reason so I made a rule.
I put up a piece of canvas paper on my easel and titled it Procrastination.
I said, "If I'm not painting, I'm writing."
I found myself more determined to write because I had to do something while I wait for the paint to dry.

A children's book. I'm not certain. I've got the story, I'm having complications with the art and deciding what platform to use for publishing.

My second book, Dinner, will answer this question with regards to the entire series.
