This is a tough question to answer. The last time I had writer's block was with the first edition of Dinner.

I don't know for certain if it was writer's block. I had a book to write and I wasn't writing, for some reason so I made a rule.

I put up a piece of canvas paper on my easel and titled it Procrastination.
I said, "If I'm not painting, I'm writing."

I found myself more determined to write because I had to do something while I wait for the paint to dry. (less)
